You can join the 1812 Leadership Circle by making an annual gift of $2,500 or more. Give once or in installments throughout the year—the total of your contributions, including matching gifts, will count toward your membership level:
Donors of $10,000 and more will receive an extra token of thanks— a book written by a member of the Hamilton community imprinted with a bookplate acknowledging their leadership support.
Donors of $25,000 and more will have an 1812 Scholar named in honor of their contribution, and will receive information about the scholar.
About Hamilton's 1812 Scholars:
Unrestricted gifts provide a significant source of financial aid funds at Hamilton. Gifts of $25,000 and more constitute roughly the equivalent of the average Hamilton financial aid package. In honor of donors at that level Hamilton will name an 1812 Leadership Circle Scholar. The designation is honorary, recognizing the donor's leadership support and the academic achievement of the named scholar. The goal is to thank Hamilton's best donors with a live example of how unrestricted support like theirs benefits Hamilton students.
The 1812 Scholarship is honorary and does not convey additional financial aid funds for the student being named.
