Each time I come back to Hamilton, I witness more illustrations of how alumni support impacts the campus. From scholarships that allow the brightest students to join the Hamilton community and bring their insights to the classroom, to funds that maintain the College's first-rate facilities — there is no doubt in my mind that alumni support changes students' lives for the better.

 

Last year, alumni participation reached 52.2 percent, continuing a tradition of 50 percent or more participation that has endured for each of the past 27 years! We have the opportunity, once again, to sustain this legacy of support just as it made our own Hamilton experiences possible.

 

I respect that the economic climate today is very challenging for Hamilton, its students and its alumni, and that this year special dedication and generosity from alumni will be on display in achieving the Annual Fund goals. Gratefully, our alumni have never before flinched from a challenge in furtherance of Hamilton's laudable mission.

 

Recent communications from the College remind us that "giving back" to Hamilton is an essential part of who we are as alumni. We volunteer our time and financial resources to help causes in our local communities and throughout the world. We make a difference as committed professionals, as parents and as civic leaders. Our alumni talents, compassion and generosity are unmatched. And the one thing we all have in common is Hamilton.
