Comings and Goings Gary Almas,
custodian, was previously a custodial supervisor at Human Technologies
in Utica. He received an associate's degree in occupational studies
from MVCC. Gary has five siblings and one daughter. He enjoys mountain
biking, hiking, water sports, gardening and photography. Gregory Babcock, custodian, was employed as a custodial supervisor at Human Technologies in Utica before coming to Hamilton. Greg was also employed as a custodian at the VA Medical Center in Syracuse and the Canastota High School. Ciara Putrello, communications assistant, joins the media relations staff in Communications and Development. Ciara is a 2004 graduate of Utica College with a degree in public relations. She was employed by the Bank of New York as a lead operations representative in the customer service area for more than four years. Ciara plays the saxophone and piano and enjoys kickboxing, yoga, belly dancing, theater and trips to New York City. (cputrell, ext. 4676) Marianne Skau, counselor/psychologist, is a new member of Counseling and Psychological Services. Marianne is a licensed psychologist and received her doctorate in counseling from the University at Albany. She has worked with various client groups in different settings including college counseling centers, community mental health clinics, veterans' hospitals and skilled nursing facilities. In her leisure time, Marianne enjoys spending time with friends and family (especially her husband Joe Karam of ITS), playing the piano, attending cultural events, exercising and cheering for the NY Yankees. (mskau, ext. 4340) Michelle Weismantle, office assistant/application processor, joins the Admission Office just in time to start processing applications for the Class of 2010. Michelle was formerly employed at Oneida Ltd. as a human resources assistant. During the summer, she runs a small hotel on Oneida Lake with her husband Harry. They have four teenagers, Rose, Jane, Jacob and Seth. Michelle enjoys reading, gardening and motorcycling with her husband. (mweisman, ext. 4090)
