Discounted Tickets for Hamilton Employees

August 27, 2002  The Performing Arts at Hamilton College announces an exciting roster of world-class professional performances for its 2002-03 season. From early music on period instruments to cutting-edge drama, the Classical Connections and Contemporary Voices and Visions Series have something that everyone will enjoy. All performances are general admission, begin at 8 p.m., and are held at Wellin Hall in the Schambach Center for Music and the Performing Arts on the Hamilton college campus, unless otherwise noted. BUS SERVICES COME TO HAMILTON

Effective August 26, the Utica Transit Authority began servicing the Hamilton College campus, thanks to the work of Tara Day, support service coordinator for the ACCESS Project.

The pick up and drop off location is the front of ELS.  The buses run regularly from about 6 a.m. to 6:30 p.m., Monday through Friday and 8:30 a.m. to 6:30 p.m., Saturdays.  The campus is serviced by different routes and buses run to Sangertown Square, New Hartford Shopping Center and Union Station.

The fee schedule is based on the number of zones a rider travels through ($1.00 base rate), but the maximum cost from Union Station to Clinton is $1.65 one way.  Riders can purchase a block of discounted rides.

TIAA-CREF REPRESENTATIVE TO BE ON CAMPUS

Tom Kelly from TIAA-CREF will be on campus to provide individual counseling sessions on Thursday and Friday, October 3 and 4.  These individual sessions will be held in the office of Personnel Services, located on the second floor of the Philip Spencer House.   All College employees are encouraged to take advantage of this opportunity to confidentially discuss current investment strategies and to receive guidance on how to meet your long-term investment goals.  Tom is prepared to address questions about asset allocation as well as general retirement planning issues.
