How to Survive (Another) Long, Cold Hamilton Winter

    There are many theories on campus about how to best cope with the seasonal (I apologize here: the word 'seasonal' can be misleading and appear to read 'terminable') climate we experience here on the Hill. Long jacket or thick ski jacket? Mittens or gloves? Waterproof Sorel boots or comfy Uggs? I leave this to your sense of fashion. Letters to the Editor: Diversity is Important


    Tim Minella's article in the Spectator before Winter Break ("Talk of Intolerance and Diversity Overblown"), written in response to my own article discussing the goals of the Social Justice Initiative, deserves a reply in appreciation for his valid warning against "isolated echo chambers" of student thought. I should note that since the Social Justice Initiative has yet to meet this semester, I am speaking only for myself and not the SJI. More. . .
