Hamilton Student Participates in Iowa Caucusby Eloise Walter '11Mandy Bowman '10, Hamilton's only Iowan, participated in the Iowa Caucuses on January 3. Traditionally, Iowa is the first state to elect delegates for the county conventions; although New Hampshire hosts the first primary, Iowa hosts the first caucus and sets the precedent for the primaries. Bowman feels her vote counts more in the caucuses than in the nationals because of Iowa's strong influence.
