From Where I Sit: Gray Gons'08 on SHINE and the Mohawk Valley Latino Center

    As a student of languages, I at first felt extreme excitement for the SHINE program, because I would be able to apply all the different experiences I have had learning foreign languages in the past. I have been a student of Spanish since second grade, and while my language skills may not be indicative of that fact, I most certainly have gone through more than thirteen years of different classes, divergent teaching styles, and enough tedious assignments and activities to make anyone's head roll. HauteLife: HauteTalk with Yelena Moroz

    Last May, I walked into the Women's Wear Daily (WWD) Fashion Closet to find Yelena Moroz listening to some Kylie Minogue sounding song. It brought a smile to my face because I love Kylie. We said our hellos and I found out she was the new Freelance Fashion Assistant, which brought an even bigger smile to my face. Survey Results: Pizza For Your Thoughts

    On Wednesday, February 13, those who passed through the Science Center Atrium during the lunch-time bustle met with something rather unusual—the sight and smell of pizza, along with students handing slices out for free.  The catch?  Passerby's first had to fill out a brief, five-question survey that inquired about participants' views concerning Jesus, faith, Christianity, and their relevance among the lives of those on campus.  The event, dubbed "Pizza for your thoughts" and hosted by the Hamilton Christian Fellowship (HCF), drew sizeable crowds that soon depleted the 20 boxes supplied by Clinton's Pizza Place.
