Facebook is a dangerous tool for professor-student relations. There is a definite area of inappropriateness, and both professors and students are in danger of crossing that threshold. In the two-dimensional world of Facebook, it is sometimes difficult to discern tone from a status, and a goofy picture can make students look inebriated even if that wasn't the case. More...
