From Boner Jam to Apple Wagon: The Truth Behind One of Hamilton's Favorite Bands

    Apple Wagon celebrated its one year performance anniversary this past weekend with a Halloween show at Rogers Estate followed by a performance at the Pub on Friday. A year ago the band was named Electric Robots and performed a show with little to no equipment that was nonetheless a huge success that spurred the on-campus following of the band. These self described "Nomadic Practicers" have changed from being conned Electric Robots to Incidinary Pandas, Leaf House, Kinetics, Boner Jam and their current Apple Wagon but throughout all the transitions have maintained truly fun performances that are as entertaining to watch as to listen to. Heroes: Televison's Favorite New Superheroes Return for Season Two

    We have all seen TV shows, movies, and comics that involve your everyday individual discovering that they have an extraordinary ability, whether it is flying, super-speed, or even invisibility.  For example, the comic "X-Men" has given rise to three major motion pictures, as well as countless Saturday morning cartoons.   So you think the general public would be bored with this idea, right?  Well in Tim Kring's case, the creator and producer of the hit NBC TV show "Heroes," the sky is the limit.  Currently in its second season, Heroes follows the lives of many different "extraordinary" people. New Juanes CD: La Vida Es un Ratico

    Juanes, the Columbian pop sensation, released his fourth album last Tuesday, entitled La Vida Es un Ratico (Life is only a moment). In comparison to his previous albums, Juanes said that this one would sound "more Columbian," with tinges of musical styles from his native country. This influence of Juanes' South American roots has transformed his sound from one that is distinctively pop to a highly unique, rhythmically and melodically complex hybrid of pop and salsa. Saw IV: Newest Film Delivers Even More Murder and Mayhem

    The end of October means that theaters are filled once again with the gory, slasher films that usually accompany Halloween. Saw IV, the latest installment in the Saw series, debuted as the number one movie this weekend.
