    On Wednesday night at 10:30 p.m., in the well lit, populated area of the second floor of the library, I stepped away from my laptop for a whopping total of five minutes. Common Ground: Interview with Bob Beckel

    Liberal Bob Beckel and conservative Cal Thomas have come together to write "Common Ground: How to Stop the Partisan War that is Destroying America."  A regular guest on a variety of news programs, Beckel was assistant Secretary of State under the Carter Administration and Walter Mondale's campaign manager during the 1984 presidential campaign.
