A Typical Week in the Life

    9:01 pm. Monday. This is probably the perfect time to begin work. Early enough that I'll get it all done by a reasonable hour and still get to bed before its too late. I only have about sixty pages of reading, a problem set, and a paper to start thinking about. But the paper is for a 200-level English class, and not due until Friday at noon. No Time to Ignore Global Warming

    On September 11, 1989, I was born in New York City.  Twelve years later on that very day, a devastating terrorist attack took place on the World Trade Center.  Since then, our government instituted many measures to ensure that such an attack never happens again.  Despite the increased national security, a far greater force than terrorism, capable of destroying entire city boroughs, lurks quietly in the coldest regions of this earth.
