Health care proposals have been heavily discussed in the 2008 presidential election, and this trend is unlikely to change. Politicians try to cater to voters, and health care consistently ranks high on lists of American concerns, with seventeen percent of Americans saying their vote for president will be based most strongly on health care proposals (only lower than the economy and the War in Iraq) in an October 31 Newsweek poll and twenty-five percent of Americans reporting that health care is the issue they most want discussed in the 2008 campaign in an October 12 CBS poll. The Whole Truth About Turkey and Tryptophan

Along with sweet potatoes, cranberry sauce, and pumpkin pie, most traditional Thanksgiving feasts revolve around turkey, unless of course it's turducken, a strange mix of turkey, duck, and chicken, or tofurkey, an even stranger mix of tofu and turkey flavoring, that dominate your table at Thanksgiving. After we eat the feast and finish the wine, we all sit back and blame the tryptophan in turkey for our post-dinner lethargy. More. . . |
