Exiles Remain Undefeated & Advance to Nationals

by Erin Hoener '10

Although William Patterson's bus took a detour on its way to Hamilton, the Exiles did not allow the extra day of  rest to detour them from their drive to the National Tournament. It seems that the bus driver that William Patterson hired for the drive up mistook Clinton Country, NY – north of the Adirondacks – as the day's destination and by the time the error was realized the team would not have made it to Hamilton before dark. William Patterson was unable to find lodging in the area, so they headed all the way back to New Jersey to turn around and drive up the next morning in their cars for the 11:00 a.m. Sunday morning kick-off. Men's Basketball Season Tips Off

by Andrew Harris '11

With the Fall season now over, football players have some time to rest and recuperate. Not so for the Men's Basketball Team, which is charged with the task of repeating its success from the last few years.
Last year, led by second team All-American Tsakani Ngobeni '07, the team finished at 19-7, and won the Liberty League regular season title. However, in a tough League Championship Hamilton lost to St. Lawrence University, 65-64.  This close defeat closed the Continentals out of the NCAA tournament. More. . .

by Brandon Leibsohn '10

The soccer season came to an end for the men's team after they finished with a loss in the second round of the NCAA Tournament.  The team had a great run this year that was capped off by the first round victory over New York University.  Max Akuamoah-Boateng '09 continued to step up his game when he scored his second game winning goal of the season in the 2-0 victory. Rage at Sage

by Jared Leslie '09

After a less than stellar season last year, the Continentals have returned with a renewed will to win and a rejuvenated work ethic. The Men's Hockey Team has a strong base of returning players who are very experienced.  Also, stiff competition took place at every stage of tryouts, leading many to believe that there will be an exceptionally talented  team on the ice this season. The team captain this year is Kyle Roulston '09, whose leadership and skills will be necessary for the Continentals to come together and have a successful season. More. . .
