What You Can Do: Fighting Prejudice

This semester, we've heard a lot about intolerance. In October, President Joan Hinde Stewart informed the campus about a vandal scrawling racist comments on a student's car. The Social Justice Initiative has held several Coffee Hours about campus climate which were attended by numerous students and faculty. At the start of November, incidents of assault on Hamilton students provoked a front-page response in the Spectator, and the Daily Bull and Duel Observer have both commented on racism and homophobia.
