Bon Appetit Staff for Breast Cancer Awareness

    Every day the Bon Appetit Staff works tirelessly to ensure that every Hamilton student has hot and healthy meals.  The staff always shows a special interest in the lives of the students here on the Hill, and now manager Kathi Randall needs the support of her students. Randall has breast cancer and recently underwent a difficult operation that has left her extremely ill. More. . .

HALT Emphasizes Connection

    As senior year approaches many students may begin to wonder and worry about what role Hamilton will play in their lives after they graduate.  Many students want to remain connected to Hamilton and to the people they have met in their four years of college.  At monthly business luncheons members of HALT (Hamilton Alumni Leadership Training) meet to address this very issue, brainstorming ideas for how members of their class can stay connected to one another after graduation.  On Tuesday, November 13 HALT members attended the second business luncheon of the academic year, and Bette Mammone, an expert grant writer and philanthropist, spoke to the group about networking and the importance of maintaining personal connections. Student Samaritans Travel to Arizona

    On January 7, 2008, about 20 students will travel to Tucson, Arizona, to help migrants crossing the border and to learn firsthand about the social, moral and economic implications of immigration policies.  The students will spend two weeks working with No More Deaths, an organization dedicated to providing humanitarian aid and bringing food and water to migrants crossing the United States and Mexican border. Students Prepare for Zombie Uprising

    Sometime around eight o'clock Saturday morning, Hamilton College will experience a first in its nearly two hundred-year history: a horrifying attack of flesh-eating mutant zombies. Armed with little more than Nerf-brand weaponry and hand grenades fashioned from socks, a small group of Hamilton students will face off against the undead hordes, fighting infection by a deadly virus in an uphill battle to avert the apocalypse.
