First Block Party This Friday

    The arrival of May to the Hill also brings the excitement of Hamilton's spring concert. This year's "Block Party" will take an alternative direction from past years and will feature a DJ show complete with light show, strobes and smoke machines. The group Super Mash Bros will open for headliner Rjd2. More
 

Student Takes Geoscience on Ice

     Professor of Geosciences Eugene Domack, accompanied by Mason Fried '10, led a group of researchers on an expedition to Antarctica over Hamilton's spring break.
     The team came together to address the environmental changes in the shelf systems of Antarctica as part of the LARsen Ice Shelf System, Antarctica (LARISSA) campaign. Throughout the trip, the team lived on the U.S. Antarctic Program's research vessel, the Lawrence M. Gould. The expedition was made possible with funds from the National Science Foundation. More
 

Over 400 Participate in AIDS Hike for Life, Raise $34,000

    The 11th annual AIDS Hike for Life was a great success, marked by high turnout and high temperatures. 450 individuals trekked across campus to raise money and express support for the efforts of the AIDS Community Resources (ACR) of the Mohawk Valley. Last Sunday, April 26 at 11 a.m., the mass of runners and walkers began the 5K hosted by the College, presenting an inspiring spectacle of a unified force against AIDS. More

Exploring a Change in Parking

     Director of Campus Safety Fran Manfredo attended the Student Assembly meeting on April 27 to discuss parking at Hamilton. Manfredo is attempting to revamp the parking system in response to a survey conducted by Professor Wu's Economic Statistics class. Manfredo began by addressing some frequently asked questions from the survey that he is unable to address. Specifically, Campus Safety has no role in determining which tickets the Parking Appeals Board accepts or rejects, nor does it set the ticket prices. The cost of a ticket at Hamilton is comparable to those of other schools in New York. More
