Fulbright Scholarships

(Academic Year) Merit-based Fulbright scholarships are available through a generous grant provided to ACC by the U.S. Department of Education Fulbright-Hays GPA program. The Fulbright GPA scholarship's objective is to provide undergraduate upperclassmen and/or graduate students language training opportunities in foreign countries where the United States has diplomatic representation. The scholarship's more general goal is to promote international understanding and cooperation. Scholarship recipients are provided funding to offset ACC tuition and/or international travel expenses. Highly-qualified ACC applicants from any institution of higher education are encouraged to apply.

Eligibility requirements: The scholarship recipient must be a citizen, national, or permanent resident of the United States.

Post-scholarship requirements: Students conduct an outreach activity in the United States after returning from China (i.e. a presentation at your home institution or another organization). Fulbright travel scholarship requirements: In accordance with the U.S. Fly America Act, Fulbright recipients who receive funds specifically for travel purposes must fly on an U.S. flag air carrier. Please contact the ACC office for more information about this requirement.
