The Kennedy Center for Theatre and the Studio Arts was completed in July 2014. The core common areas in the new facility include: large classrooms for our new Foundations course and for drawing, and an exhibition space that can be used for critique sessions and where students will share their work with the campus and community audience.
Surrounding the core areas will be workshops, studios and support spaces for painting, printmaking, sculpture, woodworking, metals and ceramics, photography and other media.
A particular focus will be the interdisciplinary digital arts suite, where video artists will collaborate with musicians, dancers, actors, poets, mathematicians, scientists and others on a variety of interdisciplinary projects.
The new and acclaimed Wellin Museum of Art provides Hamilton students with opportunities to engage with artists and their work, for research and study and to exhibit their own work.
