Theodore J. Eismeier, Ph.D.

Professor of Government

Theodore J. Eismeier (Ph.D., Yale), Professor of Government, studies American Politics. He is the author (with Philip H. Pollock III) of Business, Money, and Rise of Corporate PAC's in American Elections (1998) and his articles have appeared in the American Journal of Political Science, the British Journal of Political Science, Journal of Policy Analysis and Management, Political Behavior, Polity, and a number of edited volumes. He is currently working on a project about the Hudson River as a case study of transitions to post-industrialism.

Eismeier is directing the Semester in Washington Program in 2011-12, his last year of full-time teaching at Hamilton.
