The Health Professions Advisory Committee (HPAC) consists of faculty members who serve as advisors for students interested in pursuing careers in medicine, dentistry, nursing, and the many other health professions. If you have questions about academic or extracurricular decisions as they affect your progress towards a careerin a health profession, then please contact any of these people.

The recommendation is designed to help the schools understand the strengths and weaknesses of the candidates as potential medical school students and professional physicians. In order to do this, the Committee reviews the academic records and supporting letters from people who know the candidates academic and personal characteristics.
