Help with courses containing a quantitative/mathematical component, such as biology, chemistry, economics, geology, mathematics, and Psychology is available on a drop-in basis at the Quantitative Literacy Center located in the Christian A Johnson Building, rooms 223-224. It is open Sunday through Thursday nights from 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. and Sunday afternoon from 2:00 to 4:00 p.m.

The Quantitative Literacy Center also offers a ten session (non-credit-bearing) Quantitative Literacy Tutorial. Completion of this tutorial during either semester is one way for a first-year student to satisfy the Quantitative Literacy Requirement.

Writing assistance is available at the Writing Center on the second floor of the Kirner-Johnson building.

Students are encouraged to take advantage of the drill sessions, review classes, and other help provided by individual departments. Students are advised and encouraged to seek assistance from their professors before seeking outside help.
