Scheduling a Tutor

The Peer Tutoring Office is open Monday through Friday from 10:00 to 12:00 a.m. and 1:00 to 4:00 p.m. in Christian Johnson 223. The Academic Support Coordinator will be there to answer your questions about tutoring support and will ask you to fill out a tutor request card. You may also call the office at x4374.

Once you have filled out a Tutor Request Card and have received the assignment sheet from the Academic Support Coordinator with the name and phone number of a tutor, it is your responsibility to contact the tutor and make arrangements for your first meeting.

Suggested locations for your initial meeting and subsequent tutorials are Beinecke Village, Cafe Opus, classrooms, seminar rooms, dorm lounges, or any place that is away from distractions and noise. Do not meet in dorm rooms. Some rooms have been reserved specifically for tutoring, in the library, in Benedict Hall, and in the List Building. Rooms and times will be on your assignment sheet.
