The Mark Cox Memorial Challenge Course is available to on-campus groups for experiential education. Groups numbering from eight to 40, and from ages 12 to 80 are welcome to participate for a few hours or a few days. The low ropes elements usually take from a few hours to a full day, and focus on leadership/followership skills, communication and group processing. The high ropes course is for well-established groups that wish to work in small groups to improve trust and healthy risk-taking.
Please contact the Outdoor Leadership Center by e-mail or phone Andrew Jillings at 315-859-4272 to discuss your group's requirements.
Human powered outdoor activities are a valuable and effective way for students and community members to increase their enjoyment of nature while developing skills important to many areas of life.
In truth, we just like to be outside, and we want to share that with you.
