Hamilton Outing ClubCheck out some pictures from recent HOC trips at the Facebook page of everyone's fave dog.
HOC is the largest club on campus. Our equipment room is open for rentals on Monday and Thursday nights from 7 to 9pm for rentals. Basic equipment is available to everyone; backpacks, sleeping bags, pads, XC skis and snowshoes. With some training, canoes, kayaks and stoves are available. We offer weekend trips as well as expeditions during longer breaks. Backcountry cooking in the Fall brings lots of people to the Glen House on Thursday nights, and trip leader training happens during the fall. Winter evenings bring advanced workshops and interesting talks, plus annual events like the Banff Mountain Film Fesival. Over the longer breaks, we offer trips to such far-flung places as North Carolina, Arizona, California, Virginia, the Everglades, and famously, Ecuador. |
