Rotary International Fellowship

Rotary fellowships are similar to Fulbrights. Winners study at foreign universities, with minor additional obligations (speaking at local schools, etc.) Interested students must apply directly through their home town Rotary clubs.

Applicants MAY NOT be related to Rotary club members.

Variable. Three, Six, Twelve, Twenty-four, or Thirty-six months.

Vary, but typically in early spring. Note that the lag between application for the fellowship and receipt is about 18 months. It is probably wise to apply in the spring of the junior year. Contact with home town Rotary clubs can provide specific deadline information.

Variable. Generous: could be up to $20,000 a year.
