What is it?
During the month of September, the 2008 Senior Gift Committee collected ideas for the class gift. After two rounds of voting, the class made their decision, which was announced at a Kick-Off Reception on September 28 in the Science Center's Wellin Atrium (

The Class of 2008 voted to establish the
Class of 2008 Environmental Endowment Fund, which will be overseen by the Dean of Students and/or Dean of Faculty and used to provide support for projects, undertaken by campus clubs and student organizations that focus on environmental and sustainability initiatives. As the world climate around us continues to change, we are focused on what we can do locally to pave the way globally. From conservation awareness to increased recycling efforts, this fund will help to further "green" Hamilton.
