GOLD Summit: The Power of the Hamilton Network
With the economic challenges that touched all alumni over the past year, the College's GOLD Engagement Committee made it a priority to keep Hamilton central in the minds of alumni. For the first time since the inception of the GOLD Group, the College invited all Graduates Of the Last Decade back to campus on April 3-5, 2009 for a special spring weekend of career, volunteer and social networking.
Sixty plus GOLD "pioneers" registered and attended the weekend, which was a great success, despite the "typical" Hamilton weather (read: snow on Saturday). From volunteer sessions to career panels to a fabulous bbq dinner and presentation by College Key Award recipient Jon Bellona '03, the
inaugural summit provided an appropriate venue to highlight the power of the Hamilton network.
A second Summit is planned for April 2-4, 2010. Mark your calendars now and plan to come back to the Hill!
