HALT First and Then Move Forward
Hamilton Alumni Leadership Training (
HALT) strives to expose dedicated members of the senior class to the importance of alumni support after graduation. Members of this elite group are selected on the basis of their dedication to and involvement with Hamilton. HALT members learn about the inner workings of the College at events with campus administrators, deans, the president and members of the Board of Trustees.
The 2009 HALT committee was the largest in the six-year history of the program and consisted of 48 seniors from diverse backgrounds and majors. Led by co-chairs Eric Kuhn '09 and Akilah Bond '09, the committee was united in a common goal to enhance communication between the Class of 2009 and the College. The group represents the future of alumni leadership and looks forward to taking an active role in the 196-year-old tradition of Hamilton philanthropy.
