Our 25th Reunion was a wonderful weekend filled with nostalgia, laughter, and the renewal of friendship and our connection to Hamilton. Classmates from all over the country shared stories from our days on the Hill and updates on their lives and careers.
We spent time in some old haunts, like Carnegie and South, the Chapel and the fraternity houses, while also exploring new locations like the Little Pub, the Kennedy Center of the Arts, the Outdoor Center and the Rogers Estate. The Hill had a nice blend of old and new and was as beautiful as we remember from 1986 to 1990.
You should also be happy and proud of the fact that we presented President Stewart with a check for over $1.1 million raised from our class for our reunion gift on Saturday morning in the Chapel. Over 30.6% of our class participated in this effort. We hope to increase that total between now and June 30, the end of the fiscal year. Finally on Sunday, we celebrated the lives of classmates who are deceased, including Michael Walter who is the only class member to pass away since our 20th reunion.
We hope that you will mark your calendar now and make plans to come back for our 30th in 2020. We also hope that if you have not already supported our reunion gift that you will consider support it today, no matter the size of the gift.
We hope to see you at our next special reunion.
