Alumni Council, HART, 1812 Leadership Committee and Reunion Planning volunteers are invited to the Hill for spring meetings.


Weekend Highlights Include:
  • Intervew MoJo.  Spring Volunteer Weekend kicks off with Friday, April 5 welcome lunch for all volunteers hosted by the Career Center. Volunteers will have an opportunity to conduct mock interviews and connect with current students during Interview Mojo
  • PitchComp '13 GOLD alumni and current students are invited to group training and individual coaching sessions (Thurs.- Sat.) before presenting their entrepeneurial "pitch" to a group of judges that includes successful entrepeneurs and venture capitalists. The Pitch Competition is held on Sunday, April 7.
  • 25th Anniversary of the Hamiltones. If you enjoyed listening to them when you were a student, you'll love the Hamiltones as alumni. In addition to their reunion, the Hamiltones will perform in the Chapel on Saturday, April 6.  
  • HART tours and information session. Whether  you currently attend fairs or conduct interviews to help Hamilton admission identify the best and brightest or are considering this as your way to give back to your alma mater, please join us to learn more about HART - Hamilton Admission Recruitment Team.   • Alumni Council meeting. On Saturday, April 6 at 10 a.m. all volunteers are invited to join Alumni Council members to hear committee reports from Class Leadership, Regional Affairs, MARC, and GOLD Engagement. In addition, come learn more about "Hamilton Social," Career Connections and Hamilton's new online community "My Hamilton Network" and directory. 
  • Planning for Reunions '14. Join classmates to start planning for Reunions '14. Recruit committee members, identify alumni college presenters, select locations for the class dinner and on-campus housing options, and discuss how to make your reunions great!

2013 Distinguished Service Award

Dave Thompson, Director of the Charlean and Wayland Blood Fitness and Dance Center, Director of Campus Wellness and Professor of Physical Education, is the 2013 Distinguished Service Award recipient. Dave will be honored on Friday, April 5 during the Alumni Council's Recognition dinner.

Presented by the Alumni Council on behalf of the Hamilton College Alumni Association, the Distinguished Service Award recognizes an employee who has substantially contributed to Hamilton through distinguished job performance and through involvement in student, alumni or other activities in the College community.
