Saturday, April 17 at 2:30 p.m.
Kirner-Johnson
Hailing from Indiana, Jerome found his way to the summit of College Hill to seek out new adventures in History in an open curriculum environment. Spending countless hours learning about the Enlightenment, Colonial America, the Crusades, Barbarians, the American Revolution and Abraham Lincoln, Jerome found himself half way through senior year with analysis and writing skills but without any actual career path. Looking for an exciting and dynamic professional environment, Jerome combed through the alumni directory and held informational interview over the phone with alumni in both traditional and digital advertising, marketing, media, and public relations, all yielding positive conversation but little constructive job leads. Months later in July, the calls waxed and waned, but eventually led to success as a Hamilton alum reached out with a promise of an interview. Six weeks later, Jerome was an assistant account executive at a leading worldwide advertising agency in New York, selling women's hair coloring to the masses. Jerome's hobbies include making his own beer, getting together with Hamiltonians in the city, and missing the Little Pub.
