Twenty-three years ago, Susan Hartman, reporting for The New York Times, profiled a group of talented jumpers on her troubled Brooklyn block. For the past three years, she has been working on a multi-media project, documenting the amazing young women they’ve become. Six award winning photographers and filmmakers have contributed. Hartman made a presentation about the ongoing project, which included two short videos and Q & A with the young women.

Katherine Kuharic is the Kevin Kennedy Professor of Art and the recipient of the Class of 1968 Teaching Award. Her exhibit at P.P.O.W. Gallery was titled "Pound of Flesh" and ran October 13 - November 12.
