Which dorm will I be staying in?
Whenever it is possible, classes are housed together. Specific housing assignments will be given at Registration Headquarters, upon arrival for the weekend. You can reserve your on-campus housing on the registration form.
What is in the dorm rooms? / What do I need to bring?
Guests may want to consider bringing a fan and a lamp as these are not available in the rooms. Packages with the following items will be provided in rooms (one package per person): two towels, one washcloth, top and bottom sheets, one blanket (you may want to bring an extra one in case of cool weather), one pillowcase, one pillow, two soaps and two disposable cups. We recommend bringing a portable crib for infants and toddlers; however, there are a limited number of cribs available at Registration Headquarters.
I need a private bathroom.
Due to the limited number of private bathrooms on campus, we cannot guarantee them; however, we will try our best to accommodate your request. Add a note in the Special Housing Needs section of your Reunions registration form indicating your request. Having a room with a private bath may mean that you will not be housed with the rest of your class.
If having a private bath is a necessity for you, we recommend that you make alternative reservations at a local hotel in case we are not able to accommodate you on-campus. Be mindful that most hotels will charge for reservations canceled within a certain number of hours prior to the arrival date. Your hotel can let you know what their policy is. Prior to canceling your hotel room, please call Alumni Relations at 866-729-0314 to see whether or not we were able to accommodate your request.
I need a handicapped bathroom.
Add a note in the Special Housing Needs section of your Reunions registration form indicating your request. Having a room with a handicapped bath may mean that you will not be housed with the rest of your class. If it is not a real medical need, we cannot guarantee.
I would like to stay with a group of my classmates.
Add the names of everyone in your group (8-10 alumni per group) to the Group Housing section on your Reunions registration form. Groups will be housed together only after we receive registration forms for all individuals in your group. We will do our best to accommodate you.
I need to make a hotel reservation.
If you prefer off-campus accommodations, please contact BTI, the travel agency for the College, at 800-472-7447 for assistance with hotel/motel reservations, as well as airline and/or car rental reservations. (We have blocks of rooms set aside for Reunion '08 guests.) Off-campus accommodations are limited, so plan early.
Registered attendees will be posted on the Web at See Who's Attending. Alumni need to be registered in HOLAC to view the list. If you are not already registered please visit here.
Where can I get a reunion schedule?
The weekend highlights and schedule are available online at www.hamilton.edu/alumni/reunions/2008/highlights.html. If you prefer, we can mail you a Reunions brochure. During the weekend, schedules will be available at the Reunions Registration Desk.

In recent years, many children have shared the weekend with their families thanks to Hamilton's Reunion Child Care Program. A structured program for infants and children under 12 is housed in the Clinton Early Learning Center in the Root Residence Hall. Child care will be available from 6 p.m. to midnight on Saturday evening. Children will be supervised and entertained by a team of Hamilton and local high school students. Pizza will be served for dinner.
Pre-registration for child care is required by May 15, 2006. Sorry, but walk-ins cannot be accommodated. Pricing for child care is $50 for one child plus $25 for each additional child and can be reserved in the Child Care section of your Reunions registration form.
The Child Care Center is equipped with cribs, cots, mats and blankets so children will have a comfortable place to sleep. We are not able to assign individual babysitters to stay with children in dorm rooms, or to make arrangements for child care at other times during the weekend.
Activities for Older Children
Older children are invited to enjoy the swimming pool, tennis courts and other athletic facilities, the computer center and large-screen video games.
Class Dinners
Class dinners will be held on Saturday evening. Specific times and locations will be available at the Registration Desk when you check in for the weekend.
The class dinners are usually more formal gatherings than other meals during the weekend. Semi-formal attire is recommended. You will be most comfortable dressed in a jacket and tie (optional) for men, and dress slacks or a dress for women.
Public Computers and Internet Access
The Multimedia Presentation Center (MPC) and Information Commons (IC), located on the first floor of Burke Library, are equipped with public computers that can be accessed using a guest log-in (username and password are available at Registration Headquarters). Several desks on the second and third floors of Burke Library are equipped with Internet jacks, for use with your own laptop and network cable. Burke Library will be open from 8 a.m.–4 p.m. on Thursday and Friday, and from 10 a.m.–2 p.m. on Saturday and Sunday.
Beinecke Village has public computers that can be accessed using a guest log-in (username and password are available at Registration Headquarters). The computer lab will remain open whenever the village is open.
Wireless Internet access can be utilized in conjunction with your own laptop that has wireless Internet capabilities. You do not need a username or password. The following locations on campus have wireless Internet access: McEwen Dining Hall, Cafe Opus, Kirner Johnson Hall, Beinecke Student Village, Ferry Computer Science Building, Science Center, Burke Library, McEwen/KJ Breezeway, areas outside McEwen and Kirner Johnson, Martin's Way from McEwen to College Hill Road, the quadrangle in front of Burke Library.
