Golf Opportunities near Hamilton College

The Mohawk Valley has an abundance of challenging golf courses. Bring your clubs and plan to start your golf weekend on Thursday by calling to schedule tee time:

18-hole courses: Shenendoah and Kaluhyat $150 before 2 p.m., $100 after 2 p.m.; group rate (20+ players) $105 any time of day.

Atunyote $225 at all times. Greens fees include cart, range and tournament services.

9-hole courses: Pleasant Knolls (Par 36) and Sandstone Hollow (Par 27) the rates are $15 for 9 holes $20 for 18 holes walking and $5 cart fee 9 holes, $10 cart fee 18 holes.

• Tee times are recommended on the 18-hole courses, it is first come first serve at the 9 hole courses.

Winton Tolles Golf Tournament and Carter Cup

Challenge your classmates or gather a foursome for the annual Winton Tolles Golf Tournament, Friday at 8 a.m., at the Yahnundasis Golf Club, 8639 Seneca Turnpike, New Hartford. The format is a scramble; golfers of all skill levels are welcome. Cost is $125, which includes greens fees, cart, lunch, gifts and prizes. Sponsorships also are available: $150/hole sponsor; $250/one golfer and hole sponsor; $600/foursome and hole sponsor. Sponsorships support Hamilton Athletics. Entries are due May 25; the field is limited to 100. Register by contacting the Athletics Office at 315-859-4114.
