REUNIONS ’07 KEYNOTE ADDRESS
Regardless of your political predilections, reunion attendees will have the distinct pleasure to hear from The Honorable Tom Vilsack ’72, P’00 and the former First Lady of Iowa Christie Vilsack K’72, P’00 when they give the Reunions ’07 keynote address. Their professional lives reflect a sustained and mutual dedication to public service. Tom was most recently a two-term Democratic Governor of Iowa, and as First Lady Christie made strides in advancing the cause of literacy — a mission informed by her years as an English and journalism teacher. Parents of two sons, Jess ’00 and Douglas, the Vilsacks tangibly reflect the value created by Hamilton and Kirkland educations. A reception sponsored by the Kirkland and Hamilton Classes of 1972 will follow the keynote presentation.
