HALT Alumni Profiles

Eric Kuhn '09

Major: Government

Field Currently Pursuing: Media and Technology

Clubs/Organizations at Hamilton: The Spectator, WHCL, HALT co-hair, media board

How has HALT shaped your current experiences as an Alumni?: One of the reasons I chose Hamilton was the strength of the alumni network, which HALT embodies. I am still involved with the school and best friends with the people who participated in HALT.

How have you stayed involved at Hamilton since you've graduated?: I always meet with current students interested in getting into the entertainment business and also am involved in technology companies (even as an advisor) by Hamilton alum!

Amy Soenksen '13

Major: Government

Minor: Economics

Field Currently Pursuing: Politics

Clubs/Organizations at Hamilton: Outreach Adventure Leader, COOP- Senior Fellow and CSI Intern, Senior Admissions Intern, Women's Lacrosse, HALT

How has HALT shaped your current experiences as an Alumni?: I get to hang with Dick Tantillo when he is in DC. But in all seriousness, learning about how Hamilton functions as an institution while in HALT has taught me the importance of Alumni engagement and giving. Every form of alumni engagement, whether it's a donation, giving an informational interview, attending an event, or #gettingscrolled, is absolutely integral to Hamilton's continued success.

How have you stayed involved at Hamilton since you've graduated?: Since graduating, I have organized an alumni event in DC, worked as a HART volunteer for the admissions office, volunteered as an Annual Fund Class Agent, and become the 2013 Alumni Class President.
