Cruise Itinerary

JUNE 15: Depart for Italy

JUNE 16: ROME (CIVITAVECCHIA), ITALY

Embark on your luxury cruise aboard Riviera in Civitavecchia, the port for legendary Rome, Italy’s treasure of history and architecture.

JUNE 17: AMALFI/POSITANO, ITALY

Situated on the picturesque Amalfi Coast is the enchanting town of Amalfi, filled with ancient wonders such as the 12th-century Capuchin monastery and the beautiful 11th-century cathedral and cloister. Nearby, clinging to steep slopes above a sparkling bay, Positano charms all who visit with its Moorish-style houses and colorful fishing boats.

JUNE 18: CAGLIARI, SARDINIA, ITALY

A delightful city spread over seven hills, Sardinia’s capital offers both modern and old attractions, from attractive boutique-lined boulevards to the medieval Castello district. Cagliari’s 2,000 years of history is revealed in archaeological remains, Pisan towers, Byzantine churches and many fine museums. Nearby is one of Sardinia’s best beaches, Il Poetto—perfect for a city-side swim.

JUNE 19: PALMA DE MALLORCA, SPAIN

Dominating the horizon and overlooking the harbor, the Palma Cathedral and Bellver Castle offer a striking first glimpse of Palma, the stunning capital of Mallorca. Winding alleys and cobbled streets characterize Old Palma, while charming windmills and an impressive 18th-century manor house beckon from the verdant countryside.

JUNE 20: BARCELONA, SPAIN

Harbored on the Mediterranean, Barcelona claims a world of its own, where modern sophistication lives harmoniously with historic tradition and striking architecture mingles with medieval structures. The city’s spirited energy gave inspiration to the artistic masterminds of Gaudí and Picasso. The ever-evolving Sagrada Familia, bustling open-air markets and grid-like streets of Eixample give distinction to every inch of the city, while the Barri Gòtic remains one of the best-preserved medieval quarters in Europe.

Provence has inspired and enchanted for centuries. From the historic port city of Marseille to the picturesque countryside dotted with towns awash with ancient architecture and quaint villages perched on rocky hilltops, Provençal France fulfills even the grandest expectations.
