Comings and Goings


Donna Grygiel, benefits assistant, retired from Human Resources after 18 years in that office. Her service to the College totaled more than 29 years. We wish Donna a long and healthy retirement.

Maria Maier joined the College as senior assistant, Principal Gifts Program and Campaign Operations. She received a bachelor's degree in economics and a master's from Volgograd State University. Maria was born and raised in Volzhsky in the Volgograd region of Russia, the location of one of the biggest battles of World War II. She married her husband, Jeff (a Clinton resident and brother of a Hamilton alum), in Volzhsky in 2002. They reside in Clinton. (mmaier, ext. 4666)

David Steadman '03, returns to Hamilton as assistant director, Alumni Programs (Regional Events). He worked as an entertainment specialist with Willow Entertainment where he booked, marketed and planned entertainment for private events. While at Hamilton he was a Levitt Scholar, orientation coordinator, social chairman of Delta Kappa Epsilon and president and musical director of the Buffers. In addition to music, his interests are English literature, Tibetan culture, Red Sox baseball, barbershop singing, golf, tennis, hiking and skiing. (dsteadma, ext. 4898)

New Responsibilities

Anne Riffle, formerly the academic office assistant for Music, Theatre and Dance, is now the staff assistant for advising in the Office of the Registrar.

Janet Turvey, formerly admission office coordinator, is now the Kirkland Project assistant.

Robin Vanderwall, formerly Kirkland Project assistant, is now the academic office assistant for anthropology, communication, history and sociology.
