New Faces On The Hill

Amy Hunt, assistant director, Alumni Programs, received her bachelor's degree in sports management from SUNY Cortland.  She worked as an assistant to the directors of the National Distance Running Hall of Fame and, for the past three years, as public relations director for the Boilermaker Road Race.  Amy is a runner and sports enthusiast.  She and her husband, Dale, are residents of Clinton (ahunt, ext. 4004).

Michael Paratore, safety officer, is a recent graduate of SUNY Oswego with a bachelor's degree in public justice.  He also has an associate's degree in criminal justice from Mohawk Valley Community College. Michael performed on the Hill a few years ago with a local group of musicians accompanied by belly dancers.  He plays the Arabic drum (mparator, ext. 4141).

Patrick Rafferty, Language Center coordinator/technologist is a 2002 graduate of Skidmore College with a degree in German studies. Pat worked as a user services consultant and Web specialist in Skidmore's ITS department. He was also weekly columnist for the student newspaper, Skidmore News, and a DJ on WSPN, the student radio station (praffert, ext. 4792).

John Watkins, safety officer, has been a volunteer firefighter and emergency medical technician for more than seven years.  He has a bachelor's degree in criminal justice from SUNY Potsdam and served as a fire/EMS dispatcher for the Village of Canton for six years.  John enjoys traveling and the outdoors (jwatkins, ext. 4141).

Casey Wick, assistant director, custodial services in the Physical Plant has a bachelor's degree in business, management and marketing from Penn State University and an associate's degree in building maintenance technology.  He is currently working on a master's degree in organizational development.  He comes to Hamilton from Penn State where he was employed for 10 years, four as a custodian and six as a maintenance group leader. Casey is an avid runner.  He and his wife, Julia, and daughter, Ashley, 12, are looking forward to relocating to upstate New York (cwick, ext. 4189).
