The "Fall Festival of Quilts," the Mohawk Valley Quilt Club's biennial show, was held Sept. 26 - 28.  In addition to the display of 120 quilts, wall hangings, and quilted clothing there was a Silent Auction of hand-crafted items, a booth where visitors could try quilting on a real quilt, and a display of charitable projects the guild has supported.  Hamilton participants included: Ann Kinnel, instructor for ACCESS, tutor for HEOP and wife of chemistry professor Robin Kinnel; Kathryn Stenstrom, music cataloger and wife of retired library director, Ralph Stenstrom; and Gail Strout, wife of English professor Nat Strout.  Gail's quilts include fabric made, in part, by lecturer in violin and cello, Suzanne Beevers' 97. To learn more about the guild visit: http://www.mohawkvalleyquiltclub.com/about.htm
