Comings and Goings

Vige Barrie joins the College as director of media relations. She has been working part-time at Hamilton and Colgate for the past 2-1/2 years as a media relations consultant. Before joining her husband, Jim Frederick, in Clinton, she was director of marketing and communications at the Cox School of Business at Southern Methodist University and director of marketing and public relations at The Hockaday School in Dallas. A practicing artist, she received her bachelor's degree from the University of Pennsylvania and her M.B.A. from The Wharton School, for which she serves as president of the Executive Alumni Board. Locally, she is a board member of Sculpture Space.
