Catherine Brown, art director, had her own graphic design business in Utica for 15 years. She previously lived in Schenectady, working for General Electric Co. She holds degrees in graphic design and management engineering technology. She lives in Deerfield with husband Hal, children Jeff and Chelsea, and has two grown stepsons. Her interests include reading, gardening, running and soccer.
Brenda Davis is the new office coordinator in the Opportunity Programs (HEOP) Office. Brenda received a bachelor?s degree in English from St. Lawrence University and has worked at Boston College in the financial aid office. Most recently, Brenda has been self-employed, managing three small businesses with her husband, Pablo. They have two children, Taylor and Erica. Brenda enjoys making maple syrup and gardening.
Elise Gates ?02, has returned to the Hill as a laboratory technician, working under an NSF Grant with Professor Herm Lehman. Elise worked at the Masonic Research Laboratory this summer and plans to attend medical school next fall.
John Humphrey, custodian, graduated from Oriskany Central School and attended numerous training classes and seminars in his 22 years at Steel Treaters, Inc. John also worked part time as a custodian at Holland Patent schools. John and his wife, Pam, and their two sons, Chad, 19, and Adam, 16, live in Oriskany. John loves to golf and also enjoys fishing and canoeing.
Susan Law returns to the Hill as office coordinator in the Admission Office. Susan comes to us from Computer Connection in Oneida where she was a customer service representative. She previously worked as a circulation assistant in the Burke Library. Susan lives in Oneida with her husband, Arthur, and two children.
Jim Roache, custodian, comes to us with several years of customer service in the automotive field, and custodial work at Bethany House in Rome and Oneida Ltd. in Sherrill. Jim enjoys camping and fishing with his sons James II, age 6, and John, age 4. Jim also likes to go classic car cruising in his 1979 Chevy Malibu.
