Bellini-Sharp Receives Alumni Council's Distinguished Service AwardDeadline for Recommendations for Next Award is September 8March 1, 2004 Professor of Theatre Carole Bellini-Sharp will receive with the Hamilton Alumni Council’s Distinguished Service Award during Volunteer Weekend and the Spring 2004 meetings of the Alumni Council. Melissa Joyce-Rosen '86, as president of the Hamilton College Alumni Association, will make the presentation at a dinner on Friday, April 23. The Nominations Committee of the Alumni Council invites members of the on-campus community, alumni and others to provide recommendations for next year's honor. The industrious group created their own beach, complete with umbrella, shovels and pails and dressed the part with sunglasses and Hawaiian shirts. Sunday, April 25, at 11 a.m. on Hamilton CampusThe 6th Annual AIDS Hike for Life Walk will take place on Sunday, April 25, at 11 a.m. at Hamilton College. Registration begins at 10 a.m. on Minor Field. This event is sponsored by AIDS Community Resources and the Class of 2004. AIDS Hike for Life is a 5K fundraising walk benefiting AIDS Community Resources (ACR), whose six offices give direct support to the hundreds of HIV-infected individuals, their partners, families and friends within the central New York region. Participate as an individual or team member and raise funds that help support ACR. |
