Wellness Programs

The following wellness programs are being offered on campus this fall:

Noon Hour Aerobics - Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays, starting on Monday, September 13, in the Alumni Gym. Led by Cameo Voltz and Lisa Magnarelli, you will get the most out of your lunch hour with a combination of aerobics, step and kick-boxing.

Yoga/Pilates Class – Tuesdays, starting Sept. 21 through Oct. 26 in the Events Barn from 5 to 6:15 p.m. This is a perfect way to end a stressful day and to learn strengthening, relaxation and stretching techniques from Michelle Hughes, a certified yoga and Pilates instructor. The cost is $15 per person for a six-week session. A minimum of 15 participants is required in order to offer this program.

Weight Watchers At Work - Wednesdays in the Assembly Room (located on the third floor of Bristol Center) at noon. The next session will start on Wednesday, Sept. 8 and continue through Oct. 27. If you need some motivation and new ideas for eating healthy and losing weight, Weight Watchers now offers two choices of programs. The current Weight Watchers At Work group has lost more than 300 pounds and more than half of the members are already onto a maintenance program! This is a cost and time-effective way of participating in Weight Watchers and a great way to get started on a weight loss program that works. The cost is $85 for new members, $80 for current members and $72 for lifetime members (not within 5 pounds of their goal weight).

If you are interested in participating in any of these wellness programs, please contact Personnel Services, (vpalmer) ext. 4302.
