Favorite Professor(s) and why: I have two favorite professors that have made a significant impact on my academic career. First, Professor Helfant in Biology has helped me to sustain my interest in scientific research and has given me the opportunity to extend my knowledge of biology across disciplines. Second, Professor DeMuth in Women's Studies has challenged me to develop my own informed opinions and has helped me develop an intellectual passion.
Most proud academic moment at Hamilton: I am most proud of making Dean's List for the 2003 calendar year and being accepted to Dartmouth's Master of Public Health Program.
Favorite athletic moment at Hamilton: My favorite athletic moment at Hamilton was upsetting nationally ranked Union College this past season.
Future career plans: Next year I will be pursuing my Masters of Public Health Degree. After obtaining my MPH, I would like to obtain my Ph.D. and eventually work to research, analyze and implement programs to improve women's healthcare.
