Overview
Gabe Klein '13 leads the Hamilton College baseball program into 2013. Klein made the NESCAC all-conference and D3baseball.com Northeast Region all-region teams last year after he led the conference with a .504 on-base percentage and tied for second with a team-record 26 walks. He will be counted on to help replace the offensive production of Sam Choate '12, who graduated as Hamilton's all-time leader in hits, runs, triples, total bases and stolen bases. Sam Fuentes '13, Steve Wright '13 and Lukas Bridenbeck '13 are the other seniors. Fuentes tied for eighth in the NESCAC with 12 stolen bases in 2012. Bridenbeck, Fuentes, Klein and Tommy Moriarty '14 are the team captains. Moriarty tied for third in the conference with 16 pitching appearances last year. Moriarty and Steve LaRochelle '14 made the 2012 NESCAC Spring All-Academic team.
