Overview
Six of Hamilton College's top nine women's squash players from last season return in 2011-12. Hamilton also welcomes back Alyssa Bawden '12, who was one of the best her first two seasons. Bawden -- the team captain this season -- did not play as a junior due to injury and the College's study abroad program. The Continentals finished with a 13-10 record in 2010-11, and advanced to the finals of the Walker Cup draw at the College Squash Association (CSA) team championships. Jamie King was selected the New England Small College Athletic Conference (NESCAC) coach of the year, and Claire Corroon '13 and Amanda Thorman '13 made the NESCAC all-conference second team. Hamilton has finished with a winning record six of the past seven seasons. Bawden and Mary Lancaster '12 are the only seniors on the roster.
