The Office of Summer Programs is responsible for the use of all campus facilities and the coordination of support services for 20+ summer programs and special events. Summer programs assistants are required to prepare materials for the programs and special events as well as to meet and greet visitors to the campus. Attention to detail and a willingness to remain cheerful is essential. The work requires a commitment that may not be contained in an 8 hour day: early morning, evening and weekend hours necessary. Must be comfortable working as a team with Summer Programs and other departments providing support services. Excellent communication skills are essential. Must have valid driver's license. Student Assistants may be required to work as RA's in residence halls that house summer programs.Housing charges are waived as compensation for those responsibilities.
