Interviews are held at the Career Center or Bristol Center, and can be 30, 45 or 60 minutes each. After you have selected the candidates with whom you would like to interview, these students will sign up for interview time slots through HamNET. We will work with you to prepare a schedule that is convenient and meets your needs.
Scheduling an Information Table allows employers and graduate schools the opportunity to publicize their organization and its opportunities to students. Table reservations are available in a public alcove location in the Beinecke Student Activities Village, and must be scheduled through the Career Center at least one week in advance. Table reservations are available on a first come, first serve basis.
Organizational representatives must remain at the table and are not to approach students moving through the area who do not overtly show interest in their information.
Information Sessions are designed to give students fuller knowledge of an organization as well as specific information about available opportunities. These sessions are informal in nature and consist of a presentation by the company representative, followed by a question and answer period.
Group information meetings are held for students who have completed the application process and have been selected to interview. This is an opportunity for interviewers and students to meet informally prior to the interview the following day.
Career Lunches are held during the noon lunch hour. By nature these small, informal sessions allow for more of a "give and take" exchange between students and employers while enjoying a simple lunch.
Catering
If you wish to have an event catered during your visit, please notify the Career Center at least one week in advance. We can help you with food and beverage selection and send you an invoice after the event.
The Career Center actively collects information regarding employment offers to our graduates. Such information is used for statistical purposes only and will not be personally identifiable. We would appreciate information about the candidacy of students throughout the interviewing process.
