Overlook Medical Center in Summit, N.J., gives college juniors and seniors an opportunity to see what a career in medicine is like.  The Overlook Summer Internship Program (OSIP) allows students to shadow medical professionals and gain experience interacting with hospitalized patients.  Liza Gergenti ’14 took advantage of this summer offering and said that she “got a feel for what life during medical school and residencies will be like, including the long hours with very little sleep.”  More ...

The International Labour Organization (ILO) estimates that there are 215 million child laborers in the world, working on farms and in factories rather than receiving an education.  This summer, Monique St. Jarre ’15 is interning at the National Consumer League (NCL), an organization based in Washington, D.C., that addresses this social injustice and advocates for stricter child labor laws.  More ...

Many students at Hamilton love fashion, but very few get the opportunity to work for a distinguished fashion designer such as Oscar de la Renta, who recently received an honorary degree from Hamilton.
